Josh Foster's journey to co-founding Riverfront Recovery Center began long before he entered the world of healthcare leadership. A former professional touring musician, Josh once found himself battling addiction and on the brink of losing everything. That's when an organization called MusicCares stepped in—offering him a gift he'll never forget: a chance at recovery.
MusicCares helped place Josh in a treatment program that changed his life. After completing the program, he committed fully to his sobriety, and a year later, he accepted his first job in behavioral healthcare. He's spent every day since repaying the opportunity he was once given—helping others find the hope and healing that saved his own life.
Now a seasoned healthcare executive with 15 years of experience, Josh has led and founded national treatment organizations in roles ranging from Chief Operating Officer to Chief Marketing Officer. His expertise spans clinical operations, finance, marketing, and system design, but his purpose remains simple: to build recovery programs that truly transform lives.
A graduate of American University's Kogod School of Business, Josh is known for his people-first leadership style, operational precision, and unwavering dedication to improving behavioral health outcomes. He is a father, husband, and still plays music from time to time—grateful every day for the chance to give back what was once so freely given to him.

Twin River Behavioral Health gave me the support I needed during one of the hardest periods of my life. The staff treated me with compassion and respect from the moment I arrived. I never felt judged or like I was just another patient. The team genuinely cared about my progress and helped me feel hopeful about moving forward.
What made Twin River different for me was that they didn't focus only on my substance use. They helped me understand how my anxiety, depression, and addiction were connected. For the first time, I felt like I was working on the reasons behind my struggles instead of just the symptoms. I learned things about myself here that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
I had been through treatment before, so I wasn't sure what to expect when I came to Twin River Behavioral Health. This program was completely different from my previous experiences. The therapy was meaningful, the groups actually kept me engaged, and my individual sessions helped me work through issues I had avoided for years. I left with real tools and a much better understanding of my recovery.
From the first day, Twin River felt welcoming and comfortable. Treatment can be intimidating, but the environment here made it much easier to open up and focus on getting better. I became close with others in the program and always felt supported by the staff. There was a real sense of community that made me feel like I wasn't going through everything alone.
Twin River Behavioral Health helped me rebuild more than my sobriety. They helped me rebuild my confidence, relationships, and plans for the future. What I appreciated most was that they didn't just prepare me to finish treatment. They prepared me for what came afterward. I walked away with coping skills, a support system, and a plan for continuing my recovery. I'm incredibly grateful for the experience.
